TS Galaxy star Samukelo Kabini has completed an historic move to Norway-based club Molde in a blockbuster transfer reported to be a club record for the Norwegian side.
Kabini’s transfer has been reported to have cost a R15 million fee, which is a club-record amount for Molde, according to chairman Tim Sukazi.
“Finally arrived, welcome home Samukelo,” Molde wrote on their official X account.
Speaking for the first time to the club’s media, Kabini expressed his excitement at joining the team and his belief that he will grow as a player.
“I am very happy to be here in Molde. It has been an exciting few days, and I am looking forward to getting started,” the defender said, as quoted on the club’s website.
“I have heard a lot of good things about the club and have seen how Molde performs both in Norway and in Europe. It seems like a fantastic place to develop as a player.
“I like to play with intensity and use my physicality in duels. I have played both as a left-back and a centre-back, and I always give everything for the team.”
