04/03 – Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder Benson Mhlongo has been appointed the Capr Town City assistant coach following the departure of Vasili Manousakis. Manousakis linked up with Benni McCarthy who was recently unveiled as the new head coach of the Kenyan national team.

04/03 – After training with Mamelodi Sundowns for weeks, Lebo Mothiba has put pen to paper as he joins Masandawana where he will make his PSL debut. Mothiba was on the books of French League 1 outfit Strasbourg where he spent five seasons. The 29-year-old is expected to compete with Iqraam Rayners, Peter Shalulile, Arthur Sales and Lucas Ribeiro for a starting berth.

03/03 – Golden Arrows have confirmed the return of former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Manqoba Mngqithi who was fired by Masandawana on December 10. His role at Abafana Bes’thende is not yet clear but given his experience, the 53-year-old is expected to lead the technical team while Musa Bilankulu and Kagisho Dikgacoi serve as his right-hand men.
01/03 – Sekhukhune United have confirmed Jamie Webber’s move to United State of America outfit FC Tulsan who compete in the USL Championship, the second tier league in that region.

27/02 – As previously reported earlier this month, Thulani Serero has officially made his return to the PSL with Mother City outfit Cape Town City, where he has seemingly impressed interim coach Muhsin Ertugral after training with the side from some time.

18/02 – Former Bafana Bafana star player Thulani Serero could make his return to the PSL as he has been spotted training with Cape Town City. Serero parted ways with UAE side Khorfakkan. The well-travelled 34-year-old is a free agent and can commit to any team at any given time.
According to sources, indications are that Serero is in the final stages of discussions to join to City as a free agent as Muhsin Ertugral is said to be keen on the services of the former Ajax Amsterdam player.

13/02 – Former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Manqoba Mngqithi is said to be weighing up his options after his exit from Chloorkop in December. Mngqithi was sacked at the back of underwhelming results and now, his agent, Mike Makaab has revealed the veteran mentor might venture into a project beyond Mzansi borders.
“We’ve had quite a lot of interest from clubs in North Africa and the Middle East. We are biding our time purely because it’s the project that’s important. If he commits to a club, it’s got to be a project that he can get stuck into,” Makaab was quoted as saying by GOAL.com
11/02 – Former Baroka, Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase had been without a club since parting ways with Black Leopards in 2023.
He links up with former Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns defender Punch Masenamela, who is currently Sunrise coach.
A club statement read: “Sunrise FC is proud to announce the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs, Baroka FC, and Black Leopards midfielder Siphelele Leonard Ntshangase!
“With his wealth of experience and incredible playmaking ability, Ntshangase brings leadership and quality to our squad as we continue our push for promotion in the ABC Motsepe League.”

As reported by FARPost, Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Sunrise FC have announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase.

11/02 – Erwin Saavedra struggled to live up to expectations at Chloorkop and he had already returned to Bolivar on loan in February 2024 before being recalled ahead of the current campaign.
With the return of Matias Esquivel and the signing of Lucas Suarez on loan, there was no place for Saavedra, and Sundowns decided to part ways with him in January.
Saavedra is now back at Club Bolivar, where he will be looking to revive his career.

02/02 – Former Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch made another move in about a year after securing a loan deal outside of the country. Lorch reunited with ex-Sundowns mentor Rulani Mokwena at Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca until the end of the season.

01/02 – Speaking to FarPost, Stanley Matthews confirmed that Ime Okon has attracted interest from abroad.
“We’ve got Ime Okon, we’ve got two opportunities for Ime that have come in, and both are big clubs. So, yes, I anticipate that in the next few days, Ime will probably also be going abroad, and tomorrow night will probably be his last game for the club if everything goes according to plan,” Matthews said.

31/01 – Sundowns continue to infiltrate the South America gold mine where they have extracted players like Ricardo Nascimento, Lucas Ribeiro, Gaston Sirino, Marcelo Allende and Mauricio Affonso. Their latest signing from that region is defender Lucas Suarez on loan until the end of the season.

29/01 – Sundowns winger Lesiba Nku had been struggling for game time since arriving at Chloorkop at the start of last season. He made 17 appearances in the league last term, netting four goals but has not kicked a ball this season. The 28-year-old has resurfaced at Stellenbosch FC on a permanent move.

29/01 – Mamelodi Sundowns and CT City have both confirmed the transfer of centre-back Keanu Cupido on a long-term deal.
The Brazilians have continued to strengthen their squad as they seek to extend their dominance over South African football.

28/01 – SuperSport United announced the capture of Congolese winger Christian Saile from Kaizer Chiefs. Details around Saile’s deal are not yet revealed, while Enoch Quaicoe also joins The Spartans.
The Ghanian winger put pen to paper on a two-year deal with an option to renew for a further year.

The midfielder has struggled for regular action under head coach Nasreddine Nabi with a potential Deadline Day loan move to potentially reinvigorate his season.

28/01 – Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs are looking to be active in the remaining hours of the transfer deadline day with the club remaining in the hunt for Richards Bay right-back Lwandile Mabuya.
After making three headline-grabbing signings on Monday, Chiefs are looking to address their inconsistent form so far under Nasreddine Nabi by reinforcing their defence.
