Mamelodi Sundowns will be crowned with the Betway Premiership trophy on Sunday afternoon when they wrap up the season against top-eight hopefuls Magesi FC in the capital city.
The Brazilians crossed the line earlier this weekend in a resounding 3-0 win over Chippa United in Buffalo City to clinch a eighth Premiership title on the spin.
With this being Sundowns’ last local game, they are using it to sharpen the saw for the Caf Champions League final against Pyramids.
Not only that as Downs are chasing a record-equalling 73-point tally in the Betway Premiership. The Brazilians currently sit on 70, which makes this match a must win for Miguel Cardoso’s side.
Magesi, on the other hand, are on 29 points and will be left with two games after this encounter.
Owen Da Gama’s men are pushing for a top-eight as they are fighting with teams such as Kaizer Chiefs, Richards Bay, Maurmo Gallants and Polokwane City, who have all played more games than Magesi.
Here, Hollywoodbets Sports Blog brings you all the details on how to follow this match.

Players to watch
Sundowns have been dominating the PSL scoring charts, netting 63 goals in 27 matches.
What is more impressive is that the top two goal-getters in the race for the Golden Boot are Masandawana players. Iqraam Rayners and Lucas Ribeiro both have 14 strikes to their names and have each provided nine assists.
Cardoso, as a fair coach, might be tempted to once again give them a last run out as the duo do not compete but complement each other, which is good for the progression of the club and their individual ambitions.
The pair will be key for Downs, just as much as Arthur Sales will be expected to play a vital role.
Sales comes at the back of being named the Man of the Match in the contest against the Chilli Boys where he came off the bench to net a brace which increased his tally to eight goals.

The Brazilian forward has also contributed the same amount of assists and he is dusting up his scoring boots for the final match of the season.
In Da Gama’s camp, veteran goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze was the big difference in the Carling Knockout final where Downs lost 2-1. This time around, the Magesi skipper will be expected to be on top form as they go up against the country’s most lethal front line.

Loftus Versfeld Stadium
This venue is a fortress for Masandawana, who secured 13 victories in 15 league matches played here last season. The stadium is also shared with the Blue Bulls rugby team.
Notably, this 2010 Fifa World Cup venue is the only stadium to have hosted a presidential inauguration, with South African leader Cyril Ramaphosa taking the oath for his first term in 2019.
Loftus has been the site of numerous significant events, including the 2023 African Football League final, multiple Currie Cup finals, and the 2009 Fifa Confederations Cup.
Betting tips
Mamelodi Sundowns 2/9 | Draw 48/10 | Magesi 12/1
Best bet: Mamelodi Sundowns
Value bet: Magesi
While Sundowns are favourites to walk away with maximum points, you can trust Magesi to be party poopers and cause a huge upset at Loftus.
Magesi are motivated to create an anticlimax for Downs and make sure Cardoso’s men receive their gold medals and trophy at the back of a defeat or at least a draw.
Given the high stakes of MTN8 qualification – Magesi will be expected to throw the kitchen sink at Downs. To win on this and other Betway Premiership contests, head over to Hollywoodbets.net.
