Rulani Mokwena says that teamwork has led Mamelodi Sundowns to be consistent in the league one of the most consistent in the league.
The Brazilians head into the World Cup break five points clear at the top of the DStv Premiership standings with a game in hand over second-placed Richards Bay.
They have won their last six league games, alongside progressing in the CAF Champions League while losing in the MTN8 semi-finals to rivals Orlando Pirates.
Reflecting on his team’s recent form, Mokwena explained the importance of the group to the club’s website.
He said: “Teamwork has led us to be consistent in the league. No one is bigger than this football club, we’re just trying to serve it. When you are servants, you forget a lot about yourself and the results. You continue to serve and, that’s what we try to do as the technical team and as pure football servants. We live, eat and breathe this game and try to do the best we can for this football club.
