Langerman was named on the bench but didn’t take part in the 1-0 win at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The 34-year-old Sundowns defender was suspended for picking up four yellow cards in previous outings.
Speaking after the game, Mosimane said he was unaware of the issue, for which Celtic are expected to lodged a complaint.
The Brazilians boss was reported on KickOff as saying: “I am not aware of that.
“I am not aware of that, you are asking me as the coach, I am not aware, I will ask the club.”
Mosimane added: “You know my opinion about football, you must win football on the pitch, that’s my opinion on football.
“Win on the pitch, if you were to win outside of the pitch now because there is something like this or that, okay if you win, you win. You know how you won.
“I focus on coaching the team and if I have reports on certain issues of course I can’t be a coach who doesn’t focus, who doesn’t observe those things but I don’t know about that I am not aware at this point in time.”
