According to iDiski Times, Baroka's management has already started discussions with Malesela about replacing current head coach Foster Hlongwane.
The club is reportedly dissatisfied with recent performances, particularly after suffering back-to-back defeats for the first time since November- a 2-0 loss to Kruger United followed by another 2-0 setback against Cape Town Spurs.
These losses have seen Baroka drop to eighth place in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, with 29 points from 22 games.
They now trail league leaders Durban City by 13 points, while also sitting seven points behind second-placed Kruger United and third-placed Orbit College, both of whom are vying for play-off spots.
Malesela, who previously coached Bakgakga, left the club during last season’s promotion/relegation play-offs.
As the league season enters a crucial phase, it remains uncertain whether Baroka and Malesela will reunite in a bid to strengthen their push for a strong finish.
