Ertugral began his tenure with victories over his previous teams but has struggled to maintain form, with his side unable to secure a win in their last ten matches across all competitions.

Initially, the Turkish international was expected to stay on as coach for the season before transitioning to a technical director role, but he has now left the club entirely.

In his place, first-team coach Diogo Peral has been appointed as the interim manager, with Roger Sa and Lebogang Manyama stepping in as his assistants.

Ertugral posted on social media: “It’s never easy to say goodbye, but sometimes the game leads us down unexpected paths.

“I’ll always be grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the incredible players I’ve had the privilege to know.

“Though some situations may seem unfortunate, I believe there’s always an opportunity to turn them into something greater.

“I wish nothing but success and good fortune for the team. Boys, keep pushing, stay strong, and may luck always be on your side.

“Thank you for everything—wishing you all the best for the journey ahead.”
