Kaizer Chiefs have further added to their squad for the current season with the arrival of former Cape Town City defender Edmilson Dove.
The 28-year-old Mozambican left-back joined the Citizens from Ferroviario in 2017 and went on to play over 100 times for the club, scoring four goals.
He joins Amakhoasi from UD Songo, who he only signed for in February following his City exit.
The player has signed a two-year deal with a one-year option.
Part of a Chiefs statement read: “Dove, as he is known, hails from Gaza Province in Mozambique and arrived in South Africa in the 2016/17 season to play for Cape Town City until his departure midway through the 2021/22 season.
“He scored four times in 107 official matches in the league, and also won the 2018 MTN8 title with the Cape side.
“The talented left-footer who is able to play at wing-back and centre-back has been training with Amakhosi and will be eligible to play once his paperwork has been finalised.”
