Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Khama Billiat has made a return to Zimbabwe to join Yadah FC.
The 33-year-old Zimbabwean international emerged as a promising attacker in his home country with CAPS United.
Billiat went on to feature for Ajax Cape Town as well as Sundowns and Amakhosi in a career spanning 14 years.
The Zimbabwe international ultimately departed the Soweto giants at the end of last season and after being left without a club, he has now returned home.
He was initially inked with a move to Dynamos FC but talks were reported to have broken down.
Last season Yadah ended in 14th place in the 18-team league.
Club chairperson Everson Chatambudza revealed that Billiat has signed a one-year deal with Yadah.
Chatambudza told FARPost: “I can confirm Khama Billiat has joined Yadah FC. We are looking forward to doing the unveiling tomorrow [Thursday]. That’s what we are working on at the moment.
“He will be with us only for a year. We want him to play for us, so he will not be loaned to Dynamos as has been reported.”
