The versatile player who has previously played for Orlando Pirates is focused on improving his attacking output by scoring more goals and providing more assists for United this campaign, aiming to leave behind his past statistics and make a bigger impact on the pitch.

“I want to score more goals and provide more assists that is me improving from last season’s great performances but with zero goals and assists,” Ndlovu said.

“Of course, I’m not neglecting performances, so it’s going to be a very difficult season for me, but I really need to grind and work through things so that I can achieve my goals.”

The Swanky Boys are set to face their cross-town rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in a much-anticipated Tshwane derby at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old makes a plea to their fans to come out in large numbers to support the team.

“I urge the Matsantsantsa A Pitori supporters to really come in numbers.

“And those ones who have abandoned us to come back to the stadium. We really miss 40k plus atmosphere to give us that extra push.

“So, I’m urging them to really come in numbers not only for this upcoming game (against Sundowns) but also for the next games until the season finishes.

“I’m urging them to be with us and backing us.”

Kickoff is at 19:30
