Tuesday, 7 November

Royal AM 11/4 | Draw 43/20 | Golden Arrows 1/1

Golden Arrows have been in fine form under Mabhuti Khenyeza – losing one game in the league after nine games played. They will look to continue that impressive start to the season when they take on Royal AM at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday night. The hosts have won just once in their last five matches, and have conceded in each of their last four. I know they have it them to frustrate Arrows, but I feel they will eventually break as the game proceeds. Arrows win at 1/1.

Orlando Pirates 7/10 | Draw 51/20 | Sekhukhune United 38/10

The Sea Robbers will look to put disappointment of the Carling Knockout Cup behind them when they host Sekhukhune United at the Orlando Stadium. Jose Riveiro’s men sit in 13th spot and are one point behind Babina Noko who have lost in three of their last four matches. Pirates will be concerned with their lack of goals in the league, but so too will Brandon Truter and his technical team. First Team To Score – Pirates at 11/20.

Stellenbosch 12/10 | Draw 2/1 | Richards Bay 5/2

Richards Bay knocked Pirates out of the Carling Knockout Cup and would have taken a lot from that game into their league form which has been dismal. They sit in 15th position with one league win to their name and face a tough next couple of weeks. But their fighting spirit saw them hold off Orlando Pirates and I will back them to steal the win in the Western Cape. Both Team to Score (YES) – 19/20.

Cape Town City 8/10 | Draw 9/4 | Chippa United 36/10

Chippa United sit in 7th position, but really could be much higher had it not been for missed opportunities in their last two matches. They visit 4th placed Cape Town City with aims to get back to winning ways after two successive draws. Meanwhile, City have hit a fine vein of form and have won their last three league matches. Chippa United will have their work cut out for them as City have proven to be a tough nut to crack at home. Cape Town City or Draw on the Double Chance – 2/11.

Swallows 15/10 | Draw 19/10 | TS Galaxy 2/1

Steve Komphela will be pleased with the start his men have made to the new season. They sit in sixth position ahead of their home clash with TS Galaxy, and this will be an entertaining match where two bright tacticians will go head to head for a crucial set of points. Galaxy have a tough run of fixtures after this game, and should ensure they get something out of it to avoid being pressured to win against the likes of Pirates and Sundowns. Go for the Draw at 19/10.

Polokwane City | Draw | SuperSport United

Gavin Hunt’s men trail Sundowns by two points and are getting ready to face a tricky Polokwane City side on Wednesday night. Both teams have been playing well but will certainly see this game as an opportunity to improve on their goal scoring. Rise and Shine did put four goals passed United when the sides met in the Carling Knockout Cup last month, but can they repeat their impressive display in the league? I think they Draw.

AmaZulu 6/1 | Draw 4/1 | Sundowns 7/20

Usuthu are gearing for what is their biggest test so far in the season when they host log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday night. Pablo Martin progressed to the semis of the Carling Knockout Cup with a splendid display against neighbours Golden Arrows, but will now look to turn their focus to the league where they have not won in their last four matches. I /think this will be a game with great atmosphere, but Sundowns to take it at 7/20.

Kaizer Chiefs 7/20 | Draw 37/10 | Cape Town Spurs 7/1

Amakhosi suffered two successive league defeats against Arrows and Cape Town City in October. Their next game is against a struggling Cape Town Spurs team who recorded their first win of the season against another Soweto Giant in Orlando Pirates. They will surely be feeling confident of pulling off another upset against Calvin Johnson’s Chiefs. Draw at 37/10 looks good.
