According to a report by KickOff, the 25-year-old forward, who plays for AS Maniema Union, recently caught the attention of Chiefs’ scouts during his team’s CAF Champions League clash against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Scouting reports, led by Chiefs’ talent spotter Thembela Maliwa, highlighted Agee’s strong performance against Sundowns last week. According to a source close to the club, Agee’s display in the 1-1 draw left a lasting impression.

“The scouts were at Loftus Versfeld to watch him, and they were very impressed with what they saw,” the source revealed. “He’s now on Chiefs’ radar, and he could be a target when the transfer window reopens in January.”

The Chiefs’ management are keen on bolstering their attacking options, and Agee, who is already familiar with the continental competition, is seen as a promising addition.

If the move materialises, he could join fellow Congolese forward Christian Saile Basomboli at Naturena, providing added depth to the club’s strike force.

With space available to sign foreign players, Chiefs are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season, and Agee’s potential arrival is generating significant excitement.
