DStv Premiership side SuperSport United held their end-of-the-season players’ awards on Monday night with 10 accolades handed to several top performers.
SuperSport United have had an impressive season since the return of coach Gavin Hunt – finishing in third place behind league winners Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, who finished second.
Their log standings also mean they will return to CAF inter-club competition football. Along with Sekhukhune United, SuperSport will represent South Africa in the CAF Confederation Cup.
To celebrate the season, the club hosted an award ceremony at Randpark Golf Club in Johannesburg. There was no surprise as Thulani Hlatshwayo walked away with the Player of the Season award.
