Soccer Laduma broke the news of the coaching trio not seeing eye to eye. Sundowns fans were quick to rubbish the rumours and stating it’s dodgy tactics that are meant to disrupt the club ahead of the big game this Sunday where the Choorklop club host Kaizer Chiefs.

In the press conference on Thursday, Mokwena confirmed that there were some elements of truth to what was reported in the media and that coach Manqoba Mngqithi apologised.

“For me, the biggest problem is having a mole and having people that report certain things to the media. We should not have people like that in our club, people who go about that sort of behaviour because in any organisation or household, whenever there is any relations, of course there’s going to be one or two squabbles and disagreements,” Mokwena explained.

‘’To be honest with you, this question should maybe be given to coach Manqoba because what was reported in the media, there’s an element of truth to it and to me the coach apologised, and we move on.”

Sundowns fans were quick to criticise their co-coached calling him toxic but Mokwena stood firm and said people should appreciate his honesty.
