Lionel Messi was on target in Barcelona’s 4-0 thrashing of Mallorca on Saturday and maintained their two-point lead at the top. Real Madrid continued to put pressure on the log leaders as they wiped Eibar 3-1 on Sunday. Elsewhere, Sevilla looks set to secure third after Atletico Madrid, Getafe and Real Sociedad all dropped points.

Levante have been dropping points lately winning just once in the last five matches including the last two draws. Despite their woeful run, the hosts are still safe from the drop zone as they lie at a comfortable 12th on the log.
Sevilla kicked off proceedings with an emphatic derby win over Real Betis. The visitors are fired up to securing the vacant third spot and will fancy themselves in such matches as we approach the business end of the season. Back Sevilla at 6/10.

Getafe dropped three valuable points last time out which would have been taken them a point behind third-placed Sevilla. This means Jose Bordalas men can’t afford anymore slip-ups or they will find themselves in the same situation as last season where they narrowly missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification.
Espanyol are slowly finding their feet yet remain desperate for points as they are rooted at the foot of the table. This is a must-win for the visitors and that could potentially move them out of the red zone for the first time ever. They have done incredibly well considering they were once 13-points behind. Back these sides to cancel each other out.

Every win now takes Barcelona closer and closer to their third consecutive LaLiga title. The Catalans brushed aside Mallorca 4-0 last time out and will fancy a similar score line against such strugglers. It has been an impressive fight whenever these two sides face each other. Hence, we can expect both teams to find the back of the net within ninety minutes at Eibar. Eibar is not in a good position in the league. They have won once in their last nine matches, losing six and drawing two.
Bilbao are the most inconsistent team in LaLiga winning nine, drawing 11 and losing eight. You just never know which Bilbao team will show up on the day so people need to be cautions when betting here. Back both teams to score at 19/20.

Celta has been a major disappointment this season so far. What once used to be a fiercely competitive side, is at present placed 17th in the table. Valladolid returned to winning ways last weekend when beating fellow strugglers Leganes 2-1. Celta Vigo remain winless in their last three matches after succumbing to a 1-0 defeat to Villarreal. It’s hard to trust neither team but back Real Valladolid for a narrow win at 39/20.

Atletico Madrid have been nothing but terrible in LaLiga this season. They are nowhere near top spots as they trail Barcelona by 15 points. Talks of Diego Simeone being sacked are getting stronger and stronger after each gmeweek. Osasuna on the other hand have been impressive as most people expected them to be amongst the relegation fighting teams. I wouldn’t be surprised is Osasuna pull yet another upset here as Atletico can’t be trusted. Back a draw here at a valuable 9/4.
