Over the years in the Nedbank Cup, there have been plenty of big upsets in the competition but Mngqithi says they will give every match their total focus and won’t get ahead of themselves no matter who they face.

“I think we are playing against a very competitive team in Richards Bay,” Mngqithi told media.

“They’ve done very well this season in the league, they are up there.

“It says to us that they are also giant-killers who have also done very well in the past in cup competitions against big teams.

“It’s very important for us to give this match all the respect it requires and works very hard to ensure that the team is ready for it.

“One must say we were a little bit unfortunate with the draw to get a team that I believe will give us a hard time.

“We believe that they have the capacity to upset any team but we are hopeful that we can get the desired result.”
