Parcy Tau says that Bafana Bafana must capitalise on their opportunities when they face Ghana in World Cup qualification action on Monday.
South Africa were held to a 0-0 draw in 2022 World Cup qualifying away to Zimbabwe on Friday, as the Black Stars overcame Ethiopia 1-0.
As they prepare to go head-to-head with Ghana at the FNB Stadium, the Bafana vice-captain admitted he agreed with head coach Hugo Broos about his assessment as to what is needed in their next game.
Tau said on Times Live: “I agree with the coach [Broos], and we want to use the opportunity of playing at home [to our advantage]. We wanted to win against Zimbabwe but I think a draw [away from home] was also good.
“So if we get opportunities at home and we use them, it would be better for us going forward.”
