Kane heroics snatches late win for Spurs

Tottenham kept their UEFA Champions League hopes alive as they battled back from an early goal down to beat PSV 2-1 at Wembley on Tuesday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were trailing as early as the second minute when Luuk de Jong headed the Eredivisie giants in front, but two goals in the final 12 minutes from Harry Kane handed them a first win in Group B to all but end PSV’s chances of progressing to the knockout stages.

Parkov double sinks wasteful Liverpool

Liverpool have opened the door in Group C of the UEFA Champions League after a dismal performance saw them lose 2-0 to Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday.

Despite producing more than twice as many shots as their hosts, Jurgen Klopp’s side failed to find the back of the net and were summarily punished by a quick-fire double from Milan Parkov in the 22nd and 26th minutes of the game.

Barcelona advance after emotional Malcolm goal

Malcolm Oliviera scored his first goal for Barcelona before Mauro Icardi drew level late in the match to earn Inter a point at home. With that draw, Barcelona sit on 10 points and have advanced to the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League.
