Mumbai Indians win record fourth IPL title in last-ball thriller
The Mumbai Indians posted a reasonable total of 149 and Proteas’ Quinton de Kock, got the ball rolling as he hit four sixes with his 29 from 17 balls before he found a top edge and was caught by Dhoni. Kieron Pollard’s late cameo of 41 not out from 25 balls saw Mumbai finished their innings on 149 in their 20 overs.
The Chennai Super Kings started on the front foot as Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson got the run chase off to a good start before du Plessis fell in the third over for 26. Shane Watson held the fort and led the run chase before drama ensued in the last over. With two balls to go Shane Watson was run out and CSK needed two runs form one ball. Lasith Malinga bowled a slower ball yorker that trapped Thakur lbw and won the match for Mumbai.

Sundowns Clinch Title
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says the support of his assistant coaches and his support staff was partly responsible for the club winning the Premiership title.
Sundowns won their ninth league title on the last day of the season with a victory over Free State Stars, whereas Ea Lla Koto were sadly relegated.
It was Mosimane’s fourth league title which puts him level with the late Ted Dumitru and current Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt.
