Writers’ Weekend Treble

Our blog writers are back at with the final weekend treble for January! Get on this weekend at 8/1!

This week’s Writers’ Treble equates to 4/1, with the first leg coming courtesy of our English Championship scribe Jason, who is backing Bristol to see off Rotherham. Our rugby scribe, who is like a kid in a candy store at the moment with the Six Nations kicking off – is backing England to clear the -12.5 handicap against France. While our final leg of this week’s treble is for over 2.5 goals to be scored in the Bologna v Napoli game.

Bristol 6/10 | Draw 24/10 | Rotherham 27/20
Backing Bristol City against Rotherham this weekend is an absolute no-brainer. The Millers are absolutely terrible away from home with a solitary draw and 14 defeats on the road. Bristol have been solid enough at home and should have no problem downing the a Rotherham side that are relegation-bound.

England 1/7 | Draw 25/1 | France 47/10
Eddie Jones’ men begin their title defence against France this Saturday. They have been in terrific form since the veteran coach took over at the beginning of last season. His side take on a French outfit who have been handed a heart-wrenching injury blow with talismanic centre Wesley Fofana being ruled out of the tournament. Fofana’s absence is a massive blow to the French. He would have been at the centre of their attack – excuse the pun – and his partnership with Camile Lopez and Remi Lamerat has really blossomed. With Fofana out the French are going to struggle on attack, which means they’re unlikely to score as many points as they would have had the Clermont midfielder been available. With the previous statement in mind, my money is on the English putting at least 12 points between themselves and the visitors.

Pick: Bologna v Napoli Over 2.5 Goals (Serie A)

Bologna 52/10 | Draw 34/10 | Napoli 9/20

Saturday’s only Serie A clash pits Bologna up against title-chasers Napoli. The home side are unbeaten in their last three matches and have been fairly decent on their ground with five victories from 10 games. Napoli come into this match unbeaten in their last 16 matches in all competitions and will be determined to build on that. The Azzurri would have been disappointed to drop two points at home last weekend, playing to a 1-1 stalemate against relegation-bound Palermo. Nonetheless, they need to pick themselves up and more importantly bag themselves maximum points. The last eight meetings between these sides have seen Over 2.5 Goals, and I’m tipping this one to be no different! Follow the pattern at 7/10

For The Brave

This week’s suggest treble is a bit more conservative than some of the ones we have compiled in the past. Don’t panic if you’re a big odds fan however as we’ve got you covered with our added leg. Chelsea and Arsenal will lock horns at Stamford Bridge this weekend in what should prove to be an absolute cracker of a game. We reckon the hosts will take the others here but won’t be able to keep a clean sheet against an Arsenal side who containing Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil. We fancy at 2-1 scoreline here and that happens to available at 9/1! (Check the London Derby price boost market for the special price)

Adding this market to the treble will boost to 50/1 – get on!
