Check out our writers’ weekend treble that equates to a tasty 17/1.
Our blog writers had a poor time of it last week with only one of their three tips arriving. The pressure is well and truly on but they reckon they’re at their best when their backs are against the wall.
The first tip of the weekend comes courtesy of our footballer writer Aaron, who’s decided to dabble in a spot of border hoping this week, tipping a Premier League game rather than a Serie A or NFD fixture. Jason is sticking to his guns and is backing Leeds to continue climbing up the Championship log by getting a big win over struggling Rotherham. Onto our rugby tip now and Darry reckons he’s found a banker in the form of Japan, who take on floundering Fiji this Saturday.

Pick: West Brom Win (Serie A)
Hull 2/1 | Draw 2/1 | West Brom 29/20
Hull City have been terrible in recent weeks, suffering seven defeats from their last eight league games. The Tigers have scored the least amount of league goals (10), whilst conceding the most (27), and are currently facing the drop as they lie 18th on the standings. West Brom will be determined to put Hull to the sword and build on their back-to-back victories. Their 4-0 hammering of Burnley last time out was nothing short of convincing and it’s a victory that will certainly boost their confidence going into this encounter. With the Baggies in such fine form, it would be foolish not to back them. The away win is priced up at a generous 29/20, get on!

Pick: Japan Win (International Rugby)
Fiji 7/10 | Draw 20/1 | Japan 11/10
It’s been a solid few weeks for your’s truly with only one of my four tips for the weekend treble failing to materialise. I’m banking on Japan to keep my hot streak going this. The Brave Blossoms, who come off the back of a dramatic late loss to Wales, take on a struggling Fijian outfit at the Stade de la Rabine in Vannes, France. The Fijians have been in dreadful form being hammered by both The Barbarians (40-7) and England (58-15). My money is on the Fijians suffering their third consecutive defeat!

Pick: Leeds United -1 (Football League Championship)
Rotherham 26/10 | Draw 24/10 | Leeds 1/1
Rotherham are dead and gone following their latest defeat to Derby County. Now 11 points adrift of safety and having shipped 41 goals in just 11 games, the writing is very much on the wall for Kenny Jackett’s beleaguered Millers.
Leeds were in no way disgraced by their 2-0 defeat against Newcastle on Sunday afternoon. Rafa Benitez is a Champions League manager, in charge of a Premier League grade side in the Championship. His men are on a different level to everyone else at the moment and don’t look like losing anytime soon. Leeds will win this and the fact that you’re getting them at even money is a steal. Take Leeds on the (-1) handicap with confidence at 5/2.
Treble equates to 17/1

For The Brave
We are returning to the always enticing price boost market for this week’s extra leg. Diego Costa and the Blues host London rivals Tottenham in Saturday’s headline Premier League clash. The Chelsea frontman has been in sensational form, finding the back of the net in back-to-back league fixtures. And with Spurs missing a few indispensable defenders this week, the abrasive Costa may be in for a field day. We certainly are hoping that is the case as you can currently get Costa to score inside the first ten minutes at a tantalising 16/1! If you add this leg to the suggested treble you’ll have a 305/1 quad on your hands!
