Following an exhilarating win at the Wanderers, the Australians will be looking to claim their first T20 Series victory since November 2014. Incidentally, that win also came against the Proteas in a three-match series in which the South Africans won the first game.

Will history repeat itself or can the South Africans break the hearts of Steve Smith and his men as the sides look ahead to the World T20? Let’s take a look.

A maiden T20 international 50 from the belligerent David Miller saw his side to victory at Kingsmead on Friday evening. The win sees the Proteas take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

So it’s advantage South Africa as the teams head to the Wanderers to do battle in the 2nd T20 international. Can the hosts wrap up the Series on the highveld or will the visitors restore parity?

With the World T20 little over a fortnight away, South Africa and Australia – two of the pre-tournament favourites – will look to put the finishing touches on their preparation for the showpiece event.

Can South Africa continue where they left off against England in February or will Australia, under the captaincy of Steve Smith, burst the Proteas’ bubble?

Having clawed their way back into the series following a convincing seven-wicket win against the English on Tuesday, the Proteas will head into the fourth One Day International confident of leveling the five-match series.

We’re set for an absolute humdinger at the Wanderers this Friday with both sets of batsmen looking in good touch on a wicket that traditionally yields a lot of runs.

In a cruel twist of fate, the rain that has largely been absent in Bloemfontein over the last few months, put an end to a fascinating contest between South Africa and England in the first One Day International.

England will take a 1-0 lead into the second ODI set to be played at St George’s Park on Saturday. Can AB de Villiers and his men level the five-match series or will Eoin Morgan and his charges go one step closer to claiming a massive ODI series win for England? Let’s find out.

After a rather underwhelming performance in the longest format of the game against England, the Proteas will now seek redemption in the One Day International leg of the bi-lateral series.

Can AB de Villiers and his men overcome an ever-improving English side or will Eoin Morgan and his charges continue where they left off in the UAE against Pakistan?

The less said about South Africa’s performances in their last two Test series the better. A 4-0 defeat at the hands of India followed by a home series loss to England has seen AB de Villiers and his charges surrender their spot atop the ICC Test standings to India.

The beleaguered Proteas will now have to reapply themselves as they take on a buoyed England in the fourth and final Test of the series at SuperSport Park Centurion on Friday.

After the extraordinary events that unfolded at Newlands last week, South Africa and England will be holding their collective breath ahead of the third Test due to be held at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Thursday.

The Proteas have to win the match if they are to stand any chance of winning the four-match Test series before the teams square up in the T20 Internationals and ODIs.
