BEAUTY NOVA was beaten half a length by ASIAN ONE last time out. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. QUORUM showed improvement in his last start and could be one to fill the trifecta spot.

MACH TEN had to be checked at the 400m last time and was very unlucky in running. He showed that he needs a mile and should be one of the leading contenders in this line-up. PERFETTO finished runner-up behind Tamra Blitz last time out. He has cracked a neat draw and should make his presence felt.
8:00 – Race 3 | Class 3 | 1000m

LUCKY FUN was beaten just under two lengths by WE ARE HERO last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and can earn his fourth career victory. SUPER FORTUNE is likely to try and get across from a wide draw to dictate terms and if doing so, he may be difficult to peg back at the wire.
8:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1400m

DARING PURSUIT beat a consistent sort to win his last start. He should appreciate the extra furlong on offer and will have plenty of followers. SIXTH GENERATION was beaten just under a length behind D STAR last time out. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and can challenge the top selection.
9:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1200m

SUPER HIGHWAY was beaten a neck by FUN TOGETHER last time out. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and is the narrow first selection. CHILLI BABA produced an eye-catching debut win. He comes in at the top of the weights but should be to the task at hand.
9:35 – Race 6 | Class 3 | 1200m

BRAVE DREAMS has consistent form lines to his credit and is nicely handicapped. He finished half a length behind Daring Pursuit last time and it will be intriguing to see if the form line is done any favours in Race 4. FARIBAULT followed up back-to-back wins with a fair effort behind Flying On The Turf. He is likely to take his medicine from a wide draw and should be doing his best work in the closing stages.
10:05 – Race 7 | Group 3 | 1800m

MONEY CATCHER Is coming off a Group 3 victory over this C&D and runs well with De Sousa in the irons. SENOR TOBA was beaten 1.8 lengths by the top selection in November. He is 5kgs better off at the weights and can reverse the result. LOOKING GREAT comes in at the bottom of the weights and could be one to cause an upset.
10:40 – Race 8 | Group 1 | 1200m

Hong Kong’s ‘Sprinter Champ’ WELLINGTON is going for back-to-back Group 1 victories and is hard to ignore on his recent win when getting up to defeat SIGHT SUCCESS. All twelve of his wins have come on this course and he looks one of the better bets on the card. LUCKY SWEYNESSE managed to beat the top selection in November and is a big danger in The Centenary Sprint Cup.
11:15 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1600m

DROMBEG BANNER won his last start over this C&D defeating the talented Sweet Encounter. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and can make it quick back-to-back wins. HAPPY TOGETHER was beaten by the narrowest of margins in his last start and it is encouraging that Badel has kept faith in the ride.
11:50 – Race 10| Class 3 | 1200m

DRAGON’S LUCK followed up back-to-back victories with a decent effort when beaten 2.5 lengths by SAKEWIN. He is a whopping 8kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents good each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. READY TO WIN and GOLDEN EXPRESS raced wide into the straight and ran on well alongside each other in their last start. The pair are interestingly drawn next to each other. MIGHTY STRIDE is also nicely weighted and can bounce back to his best form in the lucky last.
