The semi-final places were settled over a dramatic final weekend of the Super 12s. Now we can look forward to two huge matches to settle the finalists.
The possibility of an India vs Pakistan final is a tantalising one, but any combination of semi-final winners should give us a cracking finale.

It’s the slow starters against a team who seem to have lost momentum as the tournament has worn on.
New Zealand looked great at the outset of the tournament, but rain and the pursuit of knockouts have seen them lose their way just a little although they were victorious in the last outing as did all the other teams in the semi-finals.
Pakistan needed some favours to get here but, are now facing a team they own recent wins over.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are still the key men, but they have arguably been strengthened by the tough Super 12s.
Pakistan have the momentum coming into this one and should be able to book their place in the final.

India’s loss to South Africa stands out as a blip if not a blueprint for England to pick them apart.
Scoreboard pressure has been the chief ally of India throughout the tournament, and they have boldly opted to bat first on a few occasions.
Virat Kohli finding form makes India a different beast with his ability to asses a pitch among the best in the game.
Moen Ali could be the man who holds the key for England both as a miserly bowler and a dangerous finisher.
I’m on India to edge England and potentially set-up a dream final against India.
