- The draw takes place three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
- This draw closes at 19:00. The draw takes place at 19:35.
- The game is based on the same format as SA Power Ball. There are two ball sets.
- The Main Set has 49 balls (1-49), of which 5 balls are drawn.
- The Power Ball Set has 10 balls (1-10), of which 1 ball is drawn.

How to Play France 5/49 Lotto?
The France Lotto is a 5/49 plus 1/10 game. To play, simply select your numbers from the main pool of 1 to 49 and a Bonus number from a pool of 1 to 10 if you want to include the bonus and get better odds.
You can select one number and bet on that specific number to be drawn, you can also select several numbers to be drawn.
If you pick 2 numbers, both numbers must be drawn. If you pick 4 numbers, all 4 numbers must be drawn. Take a look at some bet examples below:
BONUS BALL
Choose 1 number between 1-10. If your chosen number is drawn as the Bonus Ball, you are a winner! You will win 8 x the amount you played.
- Playing R10 will win you R80 PLUS you get back the R10 you played.
Total amount won = R90
2 NUMBERS – MAIN SET
Choose 2 numbers between 1-49. If your chosen numbers are drawn as part of the main set (NOT the Bonus Ball), you are a winner! You will win 100 x the amount you played.
- Playing R10 will win you R1 000 PLUS you get back the R10 you played.
Total amount won = R1 010
MAIN SET + BONUS BALL – 2 BALLS (1 +BB)
Choose 1 number between 1-49 from the MAIN SET and another between 1-10 from the BONUS BALL set. If your chosen number MAIN SET number is drawn as well as your chosen BONUS BALL number, you are a winner! You will win 8 x the amount you played.
- Playing R10 will win you R850 PLUS you get back the R10 you played.
Total amount won = R860
