TOUCH FAITH wasn’t far behind the top selection in his last start and the pair meet on similar terms. FELIX THE KING finished 1.5 lengths behind the winner in his last start and must also be considered in this opening contest.

DAILY BEAUTY got up to win his last start at Happy Valley, is chasing a hat-trick of wins and it is encouraging that Ho has kept faith in the ride. STAR OF YUEN LONG was beaten just under a length last time. He comes in at the top of the weights and will be ridden by veteran jockey Bowman.
8:00 – Race 3 | Class 2 | 1400m

CALIFORNIA TEN was beaten just under a length behind the talented Beauty Live last time. He is 2/2 over this distance and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. WINNING METHOD was beaten just over a length by TORONADO PHANTOM last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and can run into the money.
8:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1200m

FIGHTING STAR almost made it back-to-back wins over this C&D when beaten the narrowest of margins by E Brother. Maia takes the ride, and he should give another good account of himself. CALL ME DANDY showed some promise on debut when beaten a couple of lengths by Baby Crystal. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and can challenge the top selection.
9:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1200m | All Weather

STAND UP has good recent form on this course and finished runner-up behind ADEFILL last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and can go one better. NOBLE ONE hasn’t been far off in his last two starts on turf and can feature if taking to the surface.
9:35 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1400m

RUN RUN BUDDY has placed in both starts on this course and a first career win looks to be on the horizon. FORERUNNER followed up his debut victory with a decent effort when right behind the top selection. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them at the wire.
10:05 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1200m | All Weather

FIERY DIAMOND is better than his below par last effort when beaten by LIGHTNING BOLT. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and it will be no surprise to see him bounce back to winning ways. STUNNING IMPACT was narrowly-beaten in his last start and it will be intriguing to see how he travels on the All Weather.
10:35 – Race 8 | Class 4 | 1400m

FAST BUCK won his last start defeating Smiling Collector (Runs in Race 6) and it will be interesting to see if the form line is given a boost. HOLY POWER followed up his debut win well when beaten 1.5 lengths by the top selection. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables if overcoming the wide draw.
11:10 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1800m

CHAMPION DRAGON was beaten half a length by Five G Patch over ten furlongs last time. He has cracked pole and is nicely weighted with apprentice Chung aboard. WOODFIRE BRO finished 5 lengths behind the top selection last time. All three of his career victories have come with Leung in the saddle and it is encouraging to see them team-up again.
11:45 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1400m

BEAUTY ETERNAL won his last start in fine fashion defeating Youthful Deal. Purton has opted to ride him over MARADO and looks one of the better bets on the card. The Chinese-bred ALACRITY steps out for his first start in Hong Kong. He is loaded with ability and must also be included in the lucky last!
