Chiefs were leading 1-0 as the game went into referees’ optional time at the end of the 90 minutes and Ntseki said he thought his team should have seen out the win.

Speaking to the Media after the game he said he was particularly disappointed that his charges had failed to kick the ball out so that he could make substitutions that would shore their position up defensively.

He said: “The best opportunity was us carrying the ball and securing the ball that led to the goal.

“When you look at how we wanted to close the game down, being aware that there’s six minutes added, the unfortunate part for us was not kicking the ball out to bring in players to close down the game… we gave away the goal at the wrong time.

“That goal is a goal you’d never want to give away because you know that in this fixture conceding at home puts you in a very difficult position. We planned to avoid conceding.

“I’m very disappointed. This draw wasn’t what we wanted and what we planned.”

The second leg of the semi-final will take place after the international break on the 23rd September.
