Hugo Broos has come out and assured that Saturday’s friendly international with Namibia will be a good test for his South Africa team.

They are getting ready to face neighbours Namibia on Saturday ahead of taking on the DR Congo on Tuesday, with both games taking place at the Orlando Stadium.

Bafana are on a seven-match unbeaten streak where they’ve won five and drawn two and Broos said he saw the mentality change from last year.

All eyes will be on who he selects to start the game, particularly his attack combination – with the likes of Lyle Foster, Zakhele Lepasa and Percy Tau all in good form.

In Lepasa, skill and pace is to be expected as the Orlando Pirates man has netted 10 times in all competitions in the PSL, while Lyle Foster has been impressive as he discovers his form with Burnley in the Premier League.

Namibia currently sit at the top of Group C in the AFCON qualifiers with one defeat to their name.

They too will see this as an opportunity to test their squad against one of the best nations on the continent.
