FIERY FLYING was beaten a neck in his last start. He has cracked a neat draw and should take a power of beating if taking to the surface. STARSHIP EIGHTY is a battling maiden but he finished close-up on the All-Weather in his penultimate start. The South African-bred GREEN LASER comes in at the bottom of the weights and can also make his presence felt in this opening contest.

07:30 – Race 2 | Class 5 | 1200m

Selections: 9/8/5

The grey ALL IS READY won his last start in good fashion. He remains in Class 5 and can follow up on his recent victory. HAPPY TANGO found one better in his last start over this C&D. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and could be the biggest danger in this line-up.

08:00 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1800m

Selections: 5/7/1

MISSION BRAVO clearly prefers racing on the All Weather and will have plenty of followers. LUCKY BANNER finished a nose behind the top selection in his penultimate start. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and could turn the tables. The John Size-trained AMAZING TEENS has interestingly recorded all four of his wins on the All Weather and also cannot be ignored.

08:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1200m

The Douglas Whyte-trained STRATHPEFFER finished well in his last start when beaten half a length by Raging Blizzard. He shoulders a handy galloping mass and is the narrow first selection. TELECOM DRAGON just got up to win his last outing. He has only had four runs to date and is still a horse that is on the upgrade.

09:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1200m

Selections: 4/2/7

FLYING DRAGON is nicely weighted with apprentice Chung aboard. He finished just under a length behind debut winner Wunderbar on the turf last time. It must be noted that he is also suited to the All Weather. GREENWICH was a beaten favorite in his last start. He has cracked pole and went close under Zac Purton in September.

09:35 – Race 6 | Class 2 | 1200m

Selections: 4/2/1

FLYING ACE finished right behind PACKING TREADMILL last time. He is slightly better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line. The only concern is that they are both not proven on the All Weather. KURPANY has ability and the 4.5kgs apprentice claim will assist. He could be one to fill the trifecta spot.

10:05 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1650m

Selections: 2/4/5

FIERY DIAMOND has placed in both of his runs this season and will be looking to build on those performances. He is nicely handicapped and should be one of the leading contenders. ADEFILL completed the quartet behind Smokey Bear one-week ago. He is holding his condition well and can run into the money once more.

10:35 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1000m

Selections: 5/9/1

SPARKLING KNIGHT finished a close-up second behind Invincible Sage in his last start. He runs well for Antoine Hamelin and can go close to winning this contest. NORTHERN BEACHES finished a couple of lengths behind the winner in his last start and it is encouraging that Zac Purton has kept faith in the ride.

11:10 – Race 9 | Class 4 | 1400m

Selections: 13/6/1

DRAGON DELIGHT finished three lengths behind HOLY LAKE last time. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. MEEPMEEP produced an eye-catching debut effort behind subsequent winner I Give. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and must be included in all bets.

11:45 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1400m

Selections: 4/3/5

BLUE MARLIN followed up impressive back-to-back wins with a decent effort behind Drombeg Banner. He has shown a clear affinity for this C&D and should go close if overcoming the wide draw. NEVER TOO SOON and Keagan de Melo are in search of a hat-trick of wins. MASSIVE ACTION has cracked a neat draw and should also give another good account of himself in the lucky last!
