Happy Jele insists he’s not ready to hang up his boots and is still searching to a new team.
The 37-year-old former Orlando Pirates defender has been without a club since leaving DStv Premiership outfit Royal AM in June 2023.
Jele had joined Thwihli Thwahla in February 2023 after 16 years with the Buccaneers but made just four appearances across all competitions in the 2022/23 campaign.
Speaking to FARPost, Jele explained that he still has a lot to offer.
He said: “At this point and time, I’m still training on my own.
“If any team is willing to acquire my services, I’m still available. But about retiring, I will let you know when the time is right.”
Jele added: “I think so far is good. I’m trying to adjust on this outside football.
“It’s also teaching me how to deal with life when I decide to hang up my boots. So, it’s giving me channels to whatever I want to do.”
