Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi has devastatingly been hijacked and kidnapped.
The 25-year-old former TS Galaxy shotstopper was driving in Thokoza when the incident occured, says the Intelligence Bureau of South Africa.
The organisation posted confirmation on their Facebook page.
Buthelezi joined the Buccaneers this season and has gone on to play 13 times.
Sadly this is not the first time that Buthelezi has endured a hijacking, having been a victim alongside his brother in 2022, with both suffering stab wounds.
