The Champions League draw for the last eight took place on Tuesday in Egypt.

The inaugural African Football League (AFL) champions, Sundowns, have learnt who’s their next opponents in the continental competition.

Masandawana are one of the favourites to win this year’s tournament after showing excellent performance in winning the AFL.

Coach Rulani Mokwena’s side will head to their last eight two-legged meeting with Yanga, as the Tanzanian side is popularly known, buoyed by the fact that finished top of the tough group A ahead of second-placed TP Mazmbe from DR Congo.

Yanga finished second in Group D, managing to get two wins and two draws in six games which saw them collecting eight points.

The first leg of the quarter-finals will take place in Tanzania and the second leg in South Africa.
