Sanele Barns marked the end of his Richards Bay career with a 4-0 win over Baroka FC, helping the Natal Rich Boyz retain their DStv Premiership status on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old sealed off a two-season long spell at Bay with a goal in his final game as the fan favourite now heads to join Stellenbosch FC.
Steve Barker’s side secured the services of Barns on a four-year deal as he is expected to link up with his new teammates to gear up for pre-season.

Barns played a total of 35 games this season across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.
In his farewell speech, Barns drew inspiration from the words of Rn’B icon, Luther Vandross’ 1991 hit, Power of Love, suggesting that his goodbye is not for long.
“Ey, kubuhlungu (it is painful). I would like to thank everyone who came to support me because it was my last dance here,” said Barns on SABC Sport.
“I am going to dance elsewhere next season. Thanks for the support when I got here until my last day. I love you all (Bay fans) until we meet again meet again.
“This is not goodbye, it is I will see you soon,” Barns told the crowds after the game at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium.
