He has scope and should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

CRUISE CONTROL returns to the Eastern Cape after three runs in KZN. His effort when fourth in the Grade 1 Golden Horse Sprint three runs ago, catches the eye. He moved up like a winner that day before getting caught late. The son of Querari has won three times from four starts over this C&D. His last three victories have come under Luyolo Mxothwa and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure once again.

INNAMORARE should have finished closer to the winner last time as he had to be steadied in the latter stages. He has won four times, finished second twice and third once from 13 starts over this distance. The 5yo gelding will be at peak fitness for this outing and if all went well with his travels, he should be too good for this field.

WORK OF TIME showed good signs of a form return in her last start over this C&D. She should have finished much closer to the winner that day as she reportedly raced awkwardly from the 400m mark to the 150m mark. The daughter of Rafeef gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand. Muzi Yeni picks up the ride which is encouraging and she can return to winning ways.
