Stand a chance to win a share of R15 000 in Prizes!
To enter the competition, customers must provide the correct answer to the questions in the
comments section of the original competition post on the Hollywoodbets Facebook page.
In the three days leading up to the PSL match between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, four
trivia questions will be posted each day, starting on 25 September 2024. Four individuals who
comment with the correct answers on the trivia posts stand a chance to win a share of R15 000 in
prizes.
1. The competition runs from 25 – 28 September 2024.
2. The competition ends on the 28 September at 15:00.
3. Contestants must be over the age of eighteen to participate in the competition. Contestants
can enter by commenting on the original competition post, found on the Hollywoodbets
Facebook.
4. The prizes consist of the following:
▪ (3) R3 000 Takealot Vouchers
▪ (1) R6 000 Makro Voucher
5. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an equivalent from another
service provider.
6. The winner will be randomly selected through a draw from all valid entries that provide the
correct answer to the question in the comments section of the original competition post.
7. A total of four winners who provide the correct answer in the comments will be randomly
selected from the draw, provided they are the first persons to comment with the correct
answer.
8. Entries are limited to the first comment made by a contestant. Thereafter, any other comments
by the same contestant will be considered null and void.
9. Draws to select the winners will be conducted by one of the Hollywoodbets Team Support
Office Team Members and will be supervised by an Internal Auditor on:
▪ Draw 1: 26 September 2024 at 12:00
▪ Draw 2: 27 September at 12:00
▪ Draw 3: 28 September at 12:00
▪ Draw 4: 30 September 2024 at 12:00
10. The winner will be notified via Facebook Messenger and Facebook Comments.
11. If OTT or Hollywoodbets is unable to contact a winner within three days, that winner will be
disqualified, and an alternate winner will be chosen.
12. Subject to OTT and Hollywoodbets obtaining the winners consent, winners agree to the use of
their full name, store image, and photograph for promotional purposes, including advertising,
marketing, or promotional material.
13. Hollywoodbets and/or OTT reserves the right to disqualify any person suspected of unlawful
or improper conduct during the campaign.
14. OTT and Hollywoodbets will not be held liable for any loss or damage.
15. The prize vouchers will be emailed or delivered to the Hollywoodbets branch closest to the
winner’s residential area or their correct address. The winner must provide the correct delivery
address. The prize will be delivered to the winner within 14 days after the delivery address is
received. Neither Hollywoodbets or OTT accepts any responsibility for a participant providing
an invalid address.
16. By entering the competition, you agree:
a. that Hollywoodbets and OTT may collect and process your personal information for
the purposes of the competition which will be only for the duration of the
competition.
b. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners, participants
may revoke consent for marketing communications at any time.
c. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and
photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in
any such promotional activities.
17. Hollywoodbets and OTT reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone, or terminate the
competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any
reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or
expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or OTT acknowledge that you will
not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or OTT.
18. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and
accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
19. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees,
agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets and OTT or any other person who directly or indirectly
controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets and OTT or marketing service providers, or spouses,
life partners, business partners or immediate family members (parents, siblings, spouse and
children) of all the above.
20. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users
and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets and OTT
(including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents,
suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss,
damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or
indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of
a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
21. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
22. In the event of a dispute, individuals may contact their respective gambling authorities.
23. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with
Facebook, X, or Instagram. Furthermore, these platforms are not responsible for any disputes
or claims that arise from the competition.
24. Entrants, by virtue of participation, understand that information provided is collected by
Hollywoodbets, in terms of its Customer Privacy notice that can be found at
