YARMOUTH

Race 7 No3 OKAIDO (Each Way)

Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Luke Morris

The only bet on a tricky card of low grade racing is the unexposed OKAIDO, whose trainer is mustard with his handicappers at the smaller tracks. The Anodin gelding came out of the bargain basement in France and on just a second start for Carroll and first on grass troubled the judge at Bath. He doesn’t need to make much improvement to have a good winning chance today.

MUSSELBURGH

Race 1 No4 ROSIE’S RETURN (Nap)

Trainer: Karl Burke – Jockey: Pierre-Louis Jamin

ROSIE’S RETURN holds the cards in the opener following successive near-misses at Newcastle and Hamilton. He’s done nothing wrong, and should enjoy the step up to seven furlongs.

Race 7 No7 SIXCOR (Each Way)

Trainer: Linda Perrett – Jockey: James Sullivan

SIXCOR has plenty of pace for a son of a St Leger winner, as shown when placed in recent visits to Ayr and Redcar. He’s settled in to his new surroundings with Perrett and can put in another earning run.

BANGOR-ON-DEE

Race 1 No9 SWEETTOWATCH (Nap)

Trainer: Dr Richard Newland – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

Irish bumper winner SWEETTOWATCH is an interesting addition to his trainer’s bow and has shaped well in his build up to this debut under Rules. His Bellewstown success happened almost two years ago, but his fitness can be relied upon.

Race 2 No7 WISHFULL DREAMING

Trainer: Sam England – Jockey: Jonathan England

Ridden with a lot of confidence, WISHFULL DREAMING came through to score with plenty in hand over course and distance last week. His connections are keen to strike while the iron’s hot and if in similar mood he can follow-up.

NEWBURY

Race 2 No2 FANGORN (Nap)

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Rob Hornby

FANGORN went within an ace of returning to winning ways when beaten by Spanish Star over course and distance earlier in the month. He has a good chance of being able to dominate in this small field under his in form pilot.

Race 6 No1 GREYSTOKE (Each Way)

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: George Bass

GREYSTOKE is a seasoned performer in middle distance handicaps and should raise his game back on turf after a lack lustre effort on Tapeta at Newcastle. His chance is boosted by the return of Bass, who was on board for his back-to-back successes in the spring.

SALISBURY

Race 2 No9 PNEUMATIC (Each Way)

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

PNEUMATIC came back with an excuse after a lack lustre effort at Newmarket. The Churchill colt is better than his form figures indicate, and if running as well as he works at home can earn at a working man’s price.

Race 3 No1 MINNAMOOLKA (Nap)

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Thore Hammer Hansen

Hansen gave MINNAMOOLKA a peach of a ride at Bath, waiting for a gap to appear up the rail and the filly readily taking it to score decisively. His claim will help eradicate a penalty and the combination can follow-up.

Race 6 No2 SULOCHANA

Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

Lope De Vega filly SULOCHANA has paid the price for a good season and gone up in the ratings but makes plenty of appeal on only a fifth run of the year with the champion jockey on board. Her trainer is having a bountiful time with his handicappers, and almost too out the Ebor on Saturday.

Place Accumulater Perm (Races 1-7)

4, 3 x 9, 2, 4 x 1 x 6, 4 x 5, 1 x 2, 3 x 5, 4
