CATTERICK BRIDGE

Race 7 No5 COVER NAME (Nap)
Trainer: Grant Tuer – Jockey: Sam James

Although her chance is compromised by a wide draw, COVER NAME has the points on the board to take out this fillies’ novice stakes after a couple of big earning runs. On her debut for Tuer she narrowly failed to land some good bets over this course and distance, and if reproducing that level of form should open her account.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 1 No8 PATROON (Each Way)
Trainer: Denis Coakley – Jockey: Cieren Fallon

Unexposed and open to improvement on this first Polytrack run following a break, PATROON is a value option and can raise his game. The gelded son of Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Blame came back with an excuse after a heavy defeat last time, after which he was rested.

Race 5 No1 POLAR CLOUD (Nap)
Trainer: Heather Main – Jockey: Sean Kirrane

Buoyed by a runaway success at Wolverhampton, POLAR CLOUD goes for a repeat win with his tail up and will be hard to beat under a 5lb penalty. He relished the step up to a mile and threequarters that day and should have no trouble staying two miles today.

Race 7 No6 DIAMONDS DANCING
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Charles Bishop

DIAMONDS DANCING has always shown plenty in training but is a gassy individual who usually works solo. Although her two efforts this summer have not matched her promising debut second from the spring, she can up the ante now back on the all-weather, and should not be underestimated.

Race 8 No14 VIVE LA DANSE (Each Way)
Trainer: Jonny Portman – Jockey: Cieren Fallon

VIVE LA DANSE has shown improved form in testing conditions on turf and now has a first run on Polytrack since last autumn. The French Navy gelding is getting close to a first career triumph and makes plenty of appeal nestling temptingly at the base of the weights.

MUSSELBURGH

Race 6 No5 KING OF TONGA (Nap)
Trainer: David O’Meara – Jockey: Danny Tudhope

On a tricky card for punters, KING OF TONGA can be a horse worth waiting for. The grey needs everything to go right to put his head in front but takes the eye as the one to beat after a near miss last week.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1 No7 PETAL POWER (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Silvestre De Sousa

PETAL POWER hasn’t shown much so far and started 150-1 when beating only one home in a Kempton novice. That earned her a handicap mark, and she’s well-drawn for an earning run on this cut back to the minimum trip.

Race 3 No1 FLASH BETTY (Nap)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Rose Dawes

Dawes has built up a fine understanding with FLASH BETTY, who after a series of earning runs has gone in at Lingfield and Wolverhampton under enterprising tactics. She is ideally drawn to serve up a repeat.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 1 No10 PEAK PERFECT
Trainer: Ed Walker – Jockey: Tom Marquand

Easy to back on debut at Ffos Las, PEAK PERFECT kept on in eye taking style to trouble the judge and rates the one to beat over this slightly longer trip. The son of French sire Anodin will know more of what’s required.

Race 3 No1 THUNDERCLAP (Nap)
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

THUNDERCLAP landed some good bets with real authority over course and distance at the start of the month, and with his trainer’s horses amongst the winners will be hard to beat from his revised mark and with Murphy back in the irons.

Race 7 No8 MAHALE (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: George Bass

Denied a good opportunity by soft ground at Chepstow earlier in the week, MAHALE can gain an overdue first career triumph in this sprint handicap. She has gained condition during a mid season break, and can go well on this first all weather run since the end of March.

Place Accumulater Perm (Races 1-7)

10 x 10, 7, 5 x 1 x 4, 13 x 4, 8, 7 x 6, 4 x 8, 2, 6
