The Dolphins continued with their first innings on the morning of the final day with both sides trying to carve out a result.

Dolphins debutant Slade van Staden went to a debut half century after starting the day on 49 not out. He was the first wicket to fall on the morning of day four for 53 when he was trapped in front by Glenton Stuurman for 53.

Ottniel Baartman fell without scoring when the Dolphins had got to 424 for the loss of the eighth wicket before Daryn Dupavillon and Kerwin Mungroo ammassed 27 for the final wicket.

Dupavillon was the final wicket to fall, well caught by Matthew Breetzke for a crucial 28 while Mungroo ended on 17 not out.

The Dolphins started well with the ball when Wihan Lubbe fell for eight, he chopped on an Ottniel Baartman delivery with the total on 12.

Matthew Breetzke was patient for his 21 off 106 balls before Eathan Bosch got one to angle back in and trap him in front for 21.

First innings centurion Rudi Second was well caught down the leg-side by Van Staden for two off the bowling of Baartman again.

At that stage the Warriors were 66 for three. That became 66 for four when Lesiba Ngoepe was caught in the gully off Bosch for 25.

Diego Rosier and Sinethemba Qeshile then took the Warriors past the 100 run mark and into the last session of the match.

With a lead of over 70 runs and only four wickets down both captains decided that a draw was the only option and the teams shook hands.
