SUDDEN STAR is having his first run for the Brett Crawford stable. He has won once and finished third twice from four starts over this distance. The son of Sudden Storm takes a drop in class and if settled into his new surroundings, he should be too good for this field.

HAN SOLO was an impressive winner in his last two starts over 1400m at Kenilworth. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. The blinkers have done the trick on the son of Master Of My Fate and with Richard Fourie retaining the ride, he can notch up the hat-trick.

The daughter of William Longsword gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. If jumping on terms, she can return to winning ways.
