WHIZZ KID moved up like a winner last time when pipped at the wire by Alcari at Sha Tin. He has ultra-consistent form to his credit and should take a power of beating in this opening contest. SPECIAL M finished runner-up behind the talented Nervous Witness last time but looks held by the top selection on his penultimate start.
13:15 – Race 2 | Class 4 Handicap | 2200m

SUPER HONG KONG’S form definitely catches the eye with two wins from his last four starts. The Millard trained gelding looks perfectly handicapped and is difficult to oppose. KING DRAGON finished a couple of lengths behind back-to-back winner Packing Famous last time and merits healthy respect.
13:45 – Race 3 | Class 5 Handicap | 1650m

SMILING FACE finished a close-up second when a length behind DIAMOND STAR last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. The South African-bred ANONYMA should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and must be considered with just 52kgs on his back.
14:15 – Race 4 | Class 2 Handicap | 1800m

TELECOM FIGHTERS is better than his below-par last effort on the All-weather track. He was beaten half a length over a mile on this course in his penultimate start and is the narrow first selection. SAVAQUIN finished a length behind the top selection last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line.
14:45 – Race 5 | Class 4 Handicap 1000m

FARIBAULT has been knocking on the door and shoulders a light mass with Moreira aboard. He was beaten just over a length by Like That over 1200m last time and the drop to the minimum trip should suit him down to the wire. The South African-bred SUPER COMMANDER was only beaten a neck by Circuit Seven last time and could be one to cause an upset.
15:15 – Race 6 | Class 3 Handicap 1650m

DR WINNING was beaten just under a length by the fast-finishing King’s Capital last time. He looks nicely handicapped in this small field and should be one of the leading contenders. EXCEPTIONAL NICE finished right behind the top selection last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights and should give another good account of himself.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 4 Handicap 1200m

FLAMING EAGLE produced an eye-catching debut when beaten just under a length by Joyful Mood over this C&D. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and won’t have to improve much to find the winners enclosure. GANG OF BROTHERS finished runner-up last time over this C&D and will just have to overcome the draw to make his presence felt.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 4 Handicap |1200m

HERO STAR was beaten a couple of lengths by KOKUSHI MUSOA last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. FABULOUS EIGHT comes in at the top of the weights but was narrowly beaten in his last start and is a leading contender. The grey FARSHAD drops in class and is capable of finding a form return in this type of line-up.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 3 Handicap | 1200m

STAR BRITE finished strongly last time when beaten a long-neck by Scotch Tycoon over this C&D. He has ability and from pole position looks one of the better bets on the card. FLAMING PASSION has placed in his last three outings, was only beaten a length by the progressive Lucky Sweynesse last time and must be considered in the lucky last!
