PRINCESS CALLA was ultra-impressive when winning the Grade 3 Prix Du Cap last time. She set the pace that day, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Flower Alley is having her first run for the Ashley Fortune stable and if settled into her new surroundings, she should take a power of beating.

OPERA GLASS tried hard when finishing second in the Listed Jacaranda Handicap last time. She tries the 2400m for the first time, but the manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will not have any issues with the extra distance on offer. She does have a wide draw of eleven to overcome, but gets the services of S’manga Khumalo who will give her all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
