The Netherlands have managed some decent time in the middle at least in this series despite the weather and England’s dominance.
Facing an experimental attack the Netherlands have done a decent job of occupying the crease and hanging in there without ever really finding a way to put the tourists under pressure.
Tongan-born Scott Edwards has been the star of the series for the hosts with back-to-back 50s and an average of 150.00 to show for his efforts.
It is unclear if regular skipper Pieter Seelaar will be fit to return to lead the Netherlands in the final match of the series.
England
England have predictably run roughshod over the Netherlands and that shouldn’t change in the final match.
New coach Matthew Mott had this as his first assignment and he won’t want even a hint of a slip-up in the final match as a new era of English cricket gets underway.
Phil Salt has done well to press his claims for a regular place in England’s white-ball set-up with a pair of top knocks in the preceding matches.
Max O’Dowd has also threatened to do some damage but was stopped in his tracks last time out.
