Quite where he slots in is a poser given that Quinton de Kock is likely to partner with Reeza Hendricks.
Gerald Coetzee is a young fast bowler with the potential to be an all-rounder and he has been knocking on the door with his efforts in domestic cricket.
The Proteas have favoured the use of their specialist bowlers which has given them a long tail in the short format.
