REPORT: Dolphins and Dragons draw in Potch

After losing the whole of the third day to bad weather the Hollywoodbets Dolphin’s CSA 4-Day Domestic Series clash with the North West Dragons ended in a high scoring draw on Sunday.

Resuming their first innings on 4/0 in reply to the Dolphins 400/9 declared the home side consolidated its reply to 313/2 by the time the teams shook hands, with Shaylen Pillay scoring 156 not out, and Chris Britz dropping anchor to support him, unbeaten on 56.

Earlier in the day Eathan Bosch dismissed opener Wesley Marshall early on for 4 and then Lesego Senokwane contributed 91 as he and Pillay took the Dragons to 177/2.

The draw is the Hollywoodbets Dolphins’ fourth of the tournament and they head into a rest week before taking on Warriors at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium on 17 December.
