Chris Gayle returned to opening the batting with Evin Lewis out injured in the few balls that were bowled in match three, and he is likely to take up the mantle in the series finale.

Nicholas Pooran has been in good touch for the West Indies but has lacked the support needed to take the team to the next level.

Bowling has been strong for the West Indies, which will surprise some who may have felt their batting is their great strength.

Fabian Allen, Obed McCoy and Hayden Walsh have been the standout bowlers of their home season while Jason Holder came to the party in the second match of the series with a four-wicket haul.

Pakistan

Pakistan look to be well placed, sporting a 1-0 lead in the series wracked by rain.

Their top four carry good form, with Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam red-hot in international cricket and Sharjeel Khan coming off a good PSL.

Hasan Ali bowled well in the only completed match of the series and continues to be a key performer for Pakistan across all three formats, while Shaheen Afridi threatens to grow into a superstar.

Mohammad Hafeez’s performance could well determine how well Pakistan do at the upcoming T20 World Cup. He was man of the match in the Pakistan win, and his experience is so very valuable.
