West Indies vs England | Third Test | Thursday 24 March – Monday 28 March 2022 | Providence Stadium, Georgetown, Guyana | 16:00

West Indies

The hosts have done well to frustrate England but against weakened opposition might have hoped things would be closer.

While they have bowled well in patches the West Indies have not been able to make an impact on flat pitches.

The hosts will hope that spin can give them an edge in Guyana.

Kraigg Brathwaite’s stoic efforts have given the West Indies confidence that they can resist England if not beat them.

England

The series comes down to this for the tourists as they seek to prove their is light at the end of the tunnel for their Test side.

Some will still question the wisdom of leaving out James Anderson and Stuart Broad given their struggles with the ball.

Saqib Mahmood showed promise in getting his first Test wickets in Barbados but he also needs to find the red-ball line and length.

Dan Lawrence has been the standout of the tour for England as a find while Ben Stokes could be the one man who could inspire a win in Guyana.

Verdict: Draw

These teams seem destined to battle it out for another five days.
