While the surface in the opener was better than England made it seem, the Shere-e-Bangla continued its recent trend of being a nightmare to bat on and the series concludes on that same Dhaka minefield.

Bangladesh vs England | Third T20I | Tuesday 14 March 2023 | Shere-e-Bangla Stadium, Dhaka | 11:00

To Win Match
Bangladesh 15/10 | Tie 25/1 | England 52/100

Bangladesh have been happy to squeak out a series of sweaty-palmed low-scoring duals at this venue which is becoming a fortress for the hosts.

Under Shakib al Hasan this team has taken on a more combative approach, and they are now tough to beat on their own patch.

A big part of Bangladesh doing well at the Shere-e-Bangla has been the bowling of Mehidy Hasan, who can be nearly unplayable and he tore England to shreds last time out.

Najmul Hossain Shantohas stepped up in this series and must be a contender for man of the series for his efforts in holding the middle order together.

England might feel they are trapped in a never-ending nightmare as they are set to endure another contest on an extremely challenging pitch.

There is little doubt that the pitch will once again be tough to score on again and England will need to adjust their batting accordingly.

Dawid Malan has looked like the most likely man to come good in these conditions.

England made a decent start last time out, scoring just under 50 in the powerplay but fell victim to pressure as the spinners put the stranglehold on.

Verdict: Bangladesh 15/10

All of the value lies with Bangladesh here. Back them to claim the spoils and secure an unlikely whitewash.
