West Indies

The West Indies came up short against India but there were plenty of positives to take from the series.

Obed McCoy showed that he has match-winning potential with the ball in his hands and will be a dangerman in an otherwise erratic bowling attack.

Akeal Hosein has also been consistent in his strangling role and is a dangerous finisher when given a chance.

Brandon King has shown potential to be the West Indies top man in the white-ball formats and could be the one to watch for the Black Caps bowlers.

New Zealand

Kane Williamson returns to lead New Zealand after some time on the sidleines with Mitchell Santner enjoying success as the stand-in.

Michael Bracewell has been a tremendous find for New Zealand and looks like a future star in T20 cricket.

Devon Conway is fit again adding more firepower to New Zealand’s already impressive arsenal.

Lockie Ferguson sees regular quicks Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Matt Henry return and might miss out on continuing his impressive run in the team.

Verdict: New Zealand

New Zealand are on a winning roll and will be tough to stop, even for an improving Windies outfit.
