PREVIEW: India look set for series whitewash against Windies

The action has been fairly tightly contested, however, the gulf in class between the teams is evident. India wrapped up the series with an assured victory on Friday evening and will chase a whitewash on Sunday.

India

Virat Kohli came to the party last time out in what will come as a bit of relief after another mini-slump.

After a good start by some of the upstarts in the India set up, the established stars made their presence felt with Rishabh Pant showing his value to the T20 game.

Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal have been bowling brilliantly for India.

There is still some concern over India’s death-bowling with the West Indies getting a little close for comfort at the end of the second match.

West Indies

Performances have been erratic but this has been a difficult tour for the group, and they would like to finish on a high.

Rovman Powell is among the most dangerous T20 batters in the world and the West Indies have more players capable of destruction.

Discipline has let the bowlers down while the Windies batters have struggled to find the right tempo for the situation.

Jason Holder is a fine all-rounder and the West Indies are lucky to have him but should consider batting him higher up in the shortest format.

Verdict: India 36/100

India should do the sweep here.
