Pakistan vs West Indies | 12 June 2022 | Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan | 13:00

To Win Match
Pakistan 3/10 | Tie 25/1 | West Indies 26/10

Pakistan

Imam-ul-Haq notched his fourth straight score of fifty or more before being involved in a comical run-out that halted some of Pakistan’s momentum.

Babar Azam was again at the heart of Pakistan’s success with another batting masterclass from the skipper.

Mohammad Nawaz bowled an extraordinary spell as well claiming 4 for 19 in his 10 overs to announce himself as international player.

Shaheen Afridi hasn’t found his best form with the ball but Pakistan will show patience with the left-arm quick.

West Indies

West Indies have shown they can be explosive in spells with the bat but have struggle to maintain that across an innings.

Kyle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks have looked in decent touch though and Shai Hope is known to be able to get the big scores.

Akeal Hosein’s all-round ability can be a difference-maker but he really needs games to be much closer to make an impact.

West Indies need the Cricket World Cup Super League points and will be desperate to take something from the game.

Verdict: Pakistan 3/10

The hosts won’t let up now, and with Cricket World Cup Super League points on the line they’ll name a strong side to get the job done.
